A Few Words About Us

Model Labs was founded in 2009 to promote results and continue research initiated and initially carried on in the research project BIZYCLE (www.bizycle.com), funded by the German federal government with 6.5 million Euros over a period of three years (2007-2009). The project BIZYCLE, as a successful academic-industrial cooperation, demonstrated the applicability of model-based methodologies and tools in large-scale system integration projects. The project result is prototypical implementation of the BIZYCLE Interoperability platform, which offers innovative model-based methods and tools for automated system integration. During the project, the platform was tested in four industrial sectors: health, production and logistics, facility management, publishing and media.

The Model Labs founding team consists of four researchers who carried on the significant part of investigation and prototypical implementation of the BIZYCLE Interoperability Platform at the Database Systems and Information Management Group (www.dima.tu-berlin.de) at Berlin University of Technology.

Model Labs offers a novel product line of model-based system integration tools as well as innovative services in areas of system integration, model-based software engineering, service oriented architecture, business process modeling and optimization and IT-governance. Vertical markets are covered using our network of technology partners.
